Spiders
My friend Webster, the spider, has a cousin who writes dictionaries. This is what HE has to say about spiders: "An animal of the order arachneida, subclass arachnida, having eight legs, a large unsegmented abdomen, jaws often equipped with poison glands for paralyzing insect prey, usually four pairs of compound eyes, and spinnerets from which a very fine thread is drawn and woven into a web. The web is used as a nest or, rendered sticky by a secretion, as a trap for flying insects, though some species catch their prey by running and capturing. There are at least 20,000 species of spiders."
