Funny Bones!!!

That's right.... SKELETON wheels!! They are called that for obvious reasons - you'll notice that there is virtually NO rim! These wheels are also known as "Tiptoe Steel" because of the shape of the cleats and the way they are mounted. This 1935 John Deere Model B" was lovingly restored by Jim Grzesiak, of Brooklyn, Connecticut.     I imagine that these wheels would give EXCELLENT traction on firm ground, but I wonder if they wouldn't make the tractor "burrow out of sight" in the mud!!     Jim... Would you care to TRY that and let us know what happens??
