Two of life's greatest mysteries are what a Scotsman wears under his kilt, and what a ghost wears under his sheet. I used to think a ghost was just a skeleton wearing a sheet. Now I'm told that a skeleton is a different kind of spook. I mean, a ghost does WEAR a sheet, right? So then, what does he look like "naked"??
Okay... A ghost is a spirit; and a spirit has no body. Therefore, a ghost is invisible! He wears the sheet so we can SEE him. Otherwise, how can he scare us except by moving things around? We've all seen movies where the ghost can pass through walls. Well then, how can he move things, and why doesn't the sheet fall right through him? That brings up another question - if the ghost has enough substance to move objects and support his sheet, how does he FLY?? Does he have wings??
