    That's RIGHT... I'd like to give YOU a Christmas present! I'd like to play a DIFFERENT Christmas carol each day from now until December22 and I'd like YOU to help me pick them out!! If you have a favorite, just write to me and I'll add it to the playlist. I'll email you back and tell you what day it's going to play, and I'll put "Requested by (yourname)" in the "What's playing" box. If you want to dedicate it to someone, I'll do THAT too!!

     I might discover a Christmas carol that I never even KNEW about!!

"Do you mean that you don't actually WRITE the music??"
     No, the music you hear is a "midi" file. It is a set of instructions that tell the synthesizer in YOUR computer what notes to play.

"Where do midis come from??"
     There are millions of them out there on the net!! Unfortunately, giving credit for them is difficult because whoever invented them left no space in the file where the name of the author could be placed.
