
This is the face of the northwestern end of the mountain range known as Thornhill Mountain. This shot was taken from our living room picture window, with a wide angle lens. What you actually see when you are sitting at the kitchen table, looking out the window, is THIS:

As close as it looks, the base of that rock face is actually just a bit over a mile away, but it is so BIG, it is right in your face...
Unless it is cloudy, or snowing, and then you see NOTHING!...
