How much is my tractor worth??

I'm a valuable antique!!
Pay Attention!!!

There is no organized Pricing guide for tractors, the way there is for automobiles. ( I even question the value of the car guides. You won't find consistent results on a 1930s CAR! ) The price of an ordinary John Deere two-cylinder tractor is based pretty much on how badly someone wants it and how badly the owner wants to KEEP it! If the tractor is an unusual configuration ( wide front, or single front wheel ), or if it is an unstyled tractor, THEN it will be worth MORE than the average. Also, the better it looks, and the better the tires are, the more it'll be worth. You'll have trouble getting top dollar for it unless it has been well restored, has new tires and can be called "parade ready".

Your assignment for today is to do some research of your own by studying these ads:

Yesterday's Tractors
Gene's Want Ads
If you find a tractor description that is comparable to yours, it may give you a rough idea of what YOUR tractor is worth, or at least, what is FAIR for a tractor of the same type as yours.
There is also a collection of "recent" selling prices on this page: ATRP Tractor Values. I question the value of these, too. The information given is a little too vague, but as you can see, nobody's gonna get RICH on these things YET!
